As part of the long-term cooperation between the Institute of Mathematics at FEKT VUT and the Center for Information Technology and Applied Mathematics at the University of Nova Gorica, Doc. Novák and Prof. Cristea are dedicated to finding talented students who would like to pursue a research career in the field of algebraic hyperstructures. At the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics of the University of Montenegro, this cooperation achieved its third success in February this year. Following the successful defense of Milica Kankaraš's doctoral thesis (2022, supervisor Prof. Cristea) and the commencement of Anton Nuculović's doctoral studies (2024, supervisor Prof. Cristea) in February this year, Bane Petričić successfully defended his diploma thesis under the supervision of Doc. Novák. All students studied and defended their theses at their home faculty at the University of Montenegro.
