In May 2025, Dr. Josef Rebenda paid his second visit to the youngest Sicilian university, the University “Kore“ of Enna (Università degli Studi di Enna “Kore”, UKE), this time within the framework of Erasmus+ Teaching Mobility.
The university is located in the middle of the island in the town of Enna in the Enna Bassa district. It has several buildings near the center and a developing campus on the southwestern outskirts of the city. During the visit, mathematics lessons in the field of differential equations and numerical methods in engineering were held. Doctoral students actively participated in solving problems in the field of mechanical vibrations, which is the main area of research at the LEDA research center of European importance.
