In September 2025, Josef Rebenda visited the University of Patras in Greece for the second time as part of Erasmus+ Teaching Mobility. The university campus is located on the northwestern coast of the Peloponnese peninsula, where the iconic bridge connecting the towns of Rio and Antirio spans the Gulf of Corinth.
During the visit, mathematics lessons were held in the areas of mathematical modeling, differential equations, and numerical methods. Feedback was also provided, which brought interesting ideas for working with mathematical models, especially with the model of the spread of infectious diseases.
In addition to teaching activities, Dr. Rebenda and his colleagues from the University of Patras also found time for ongoing scientific collaboration.
